Welcome to The Sun Room.

The Sun Room is a space for mental health education, advocacy, and therapeutic support.

We provide mental health training for workplaces, schools, and the community.

Trainings are evidence-based, interactive, and upon request can be tailored to your individual needs.

The Sun Room is also a space for community. Life can feel pretty isolating a lot of the time - check out our Podcast and Book Club.

We have so much planned for The Sun Room, and welcome you into this space with open arms.

Meet the Founder

Meet Grace - Founder & Director of The Sun Room, Provisional Psychologist, and Licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

Grace is currently undertaking a Master of Professional Psychology, and holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Bachelor of Criminology, and an Advanced Graduate Diploma of Psychology.

Grace has always been passionate about educating the community about mental health, growing up in a small town in South Australia where services and education were limited. After spending majority of her professional career working with forensic clients in prison, court, and community settings, Grace has spent countless hours with complex clients watching in real time how early intervention, education, and advocacy can change the trajectory of individual’s lives.

Grace believes that everyone should have access to mental health education and support,
acknowledging that everyone deserves to live a better life through understanding their
thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Grace’s empathetic nature, high level of maturity and understanding drives her passion,
reiterating the importance of early intervention and positive mentorship in enabling
behaviour change.

When Grace isn’t facilitating training or studying, you can find her reading,
completing sudoku’s, in the pilates studio, tending to her indoor plants, or spending
time in nature (don’t worry, she still doom scrolls occasionally).
