Fees
Our fee structure is as follows:
Initial appointment fee is $250
Subsequent appointments are $220
Initial appointments are 90 minutes which allows for 75 minutes of contact time and 15 minutes for completion of clinical documentation and letters to your referrer.
Subsequent sessions are 60 minutes which allows for 50 minutes of contact time and 10 minutes for completion of clinical documentation and letters to your referrer.
Medicare Rebates
If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible a Medicare rebate of $101.55 to a limit of 10 rebates each calendar year.
Cancellation Policy
If, for some reason you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment (or fail to attend an appointment at the scheduled time), you must give at least 48 hours notice. You will receive an email and/or text message 72 hours prior to your appointment in which you are able to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If cancellation occurs less than 24 business-hours notice, or in the case of non-attendance, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the session fee.
Appointments which are cancelled within the 24 to 48 hours will incur a fee of 50% of the session total.
If your clinician is unable to attend your session for some reason, The Sun Room Psychology & Wellness will contact you to reschedule at the earliest convenience.
All fees are subject to change at The Sun Room Psychology & Wellness' discretion.
